At BLINQ, your privacy is our top priority. We designed our application with potential privacy concerns in mind. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and—most importantly—what we do not collect.

1. Zero-Logs Policy

We do not track, log, or store your VPN usage, browsing history, or traffic data. All sensitive information, including your VPN passwords, TOTP secrets, and connection profiles, are stored locally on your device. This data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption methods. We (the developers of BLINQ) have no access to this data. It never leaves your device except when you explicitly use it to connect to your VPN provider.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum information required to provide our service:
  • Account Information: When you purchase a license, we collect your email address and a username. This is strictly for license verification and managing your subscription (e.g., device limits).
  • Machine Fingerprint: To enforce the 3-device limit, we generate a unique, anonymous hardware fingerprint for each device you activate. This fingerprint cannot be used to identify you personally outside of our system.
  • Payment Data: All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collecting or store your credit card numbers or banking information.

3. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe: Used for payment processing.
  • Email Service: Used to send license keys and important service updates.

4. Data Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data (email/username) from our license server at any time by contacting support. Since we do not store usage logs, there is no usage data to delete.
